Hey, so I'm kind of ridiculously excited about this idea. I've had a love affair with the introbang since I discovered it. Also, I am a film scholar and I think that cuil theory has some interesting applications in film theory. Many theorists talk about film as a representation of reality, some things try to accurately portray the real world, others don't. Take Memento, it's all jumbled and weird, so it's a fairly high Cuil 4 or 5 probably, but something like a fly on the wall documentary gets only maybe a 2. Editing, cinematography and sound all make it an abstraction of reality, but a fairly low abstraction of reality. Anyway, it's all still a work in process, but I'm still a nerd who is excited by the possibilities.
